<p>Apple has just released an update to (Mac)<strong> OS X Mountain Lion</strong>, version 10.8.3.<br />
<span id="more-642"></span>Aside from the usual bug fixes and performance &amp; security improvements, you can expect:</p>
<ul>
<li>The ability to redeem iTunes gift cards in the Mac App Store using your Mac&#8217;s built-in camera (cool, but did we really need this?)</li>
<li>Boot Camp support for installing Windows 8</li>
<li>Boot Camp support for Macs with a 3TB hard drive</li>
<li>A fix for an issue that may cause Logic Pro to become unresponsive when using certain plug-ins</li>
<li>A fix for an issue that may cause audio to stutter on 2011 iMacs</li>
</ul>
<p>Safari 6.0.3 is also included in this update.</p>

<p>If you&#8217;re one of the lucky people with an early 2011 MacBook Pro model, there are some fixes in there for you.<br />
It includes general operating system fixes for  Mac OS X Snow Leopard that enhance the stability, compatibility,  performance, and security of your Mac.</p>
<p>These will help:<br />
• Improve the reliability of Back to My Mac<br />
• Resolve an issue when transferring files to certain SMB servers<br />
• Address various minor Mac App Store bugs<br />
• Address minor FaceTime performance issues<br />
• Improve graphics stability and external display compatibility</p>
