So what do people do on Christmas eve? Shop for the Apple Macbook on Amazon.com, apparently. The Apple Macbook, specifically the White version with 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor, 1 GB RAM, 120 GB Hard Drive, 8x SuperDrive was the best seller. A lot of people were waiting for Leopard before upgrading their Macs, and this was a good time as any.

What service do you use for web hosting? iWeb makes it super easy for newbies to start building their own websites. However, the next question would be where would you host your website? For Mac users, the most obvious initial choice for web hosting would be Apple’s own .mac (dot mac). .mac has a lot of features built in, especially integration with Apple’s iLife suite (iPhoto, iWeb etc). However, at $100 a year, it is quite expensive compared to other available options. So what are those options?

If you didn’t manage to buy anything, don’t worry — there’s another twenty six days before Christmas! The iPhone is no longer (legally) bound to just one country. It was released in Germany last night, and today at 6.02pm, folks in the UK are also in the game. Of course, they have to pay more for the priveliege (and compared to other subsidized phones, way more).

It’s November, which means the 2007 year-end holiday season is now in full swing. The next nearest holiday (later this week) is Diwali (Deepavali). But Christmas is still the big, commercial holiday. I bet if you visit a shopping mall now, Christmas songs would start playing already.

With the high-end 15-inch MacBook Pro and 17-inch MacBook Pro, you now have the option to upgrade to a 2.6GHz Core 2 Duo processor.
