February 14th, 2008
Apple is on a roll — they have been introducing new products and updates on a regular basis recently. The “Take 2″ revision of Apple TV software, first introduced at Macworld, is now available. The software update includes the ability to buy and rent TV shows and movies right on the device itself.
The free software update is automatic and should be available in your Apple TV’s Settings menu. There are already many reviews available, including an iLounge comparison of HD video delivered by Apple compared to Blu-ray, HD Cable and standard DVD.
The Apple TV now sells for $229 for the 40GB model and $329 for the 160GB model.
