New TV shows available from iTunes Store
Apple has quietly added more TV shows to the iTunes Music Store. Joining ABC favourites Lost and Desperate Housewives will be offerings from NBC, SciFi Channel, and USA Network.
NBC has added a mix of current and classic shows :
- Law & Order
- The Office
- Surface
- The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
- Late Night with Conan O’Brien
- Alfred Hitchock Presents
- Dragnet
- Adam-12
- Knight Rider
The Sci Fi channel will have the much-requested hit Battlestar Galactica (including the Battlestar Galactica Miniseries), while USA Network is offering Monk. All shows will cost US$1.99.
It’s good to see more widespread support for Apple’s store from the networks. This time next year we’ll wonder how we ever lived without this service.
