Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard to drop 28th August

Apple has announced that their latest operating system, Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, will be released near the end of this month (August 28th 2009).

If you are a current owner of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, you can upgrade to Mac OS X version 10.6 Snow Leopard for just US$29.

A family upgrade (for up to 5 computers) will cost $50. If you have a Mac running an older version of Mac OS X (e.g. 10.4 Tiger), then you have to get the Mac Box Set, which includes Snow Leopard, iLife and iWork for just $170.

Highlights of Mac OS X Snow Leopard:
