Apple updates MacBook and MacBook Pro
November 2nd, 2007
With no fanfare whatsoever, Apple has bumped the specifications of its notebook line. The MacBooks gain the 64-bit Santa Rosa architecture and the faster GMA X3100 graphics processor. With the high-end 15-inch MacBook Pro and 17-inch MacBook Pro, you now have the option to upgrade to a 2.6GHz Core 2 Duo processor.
Of course, the new MacBook and MacBook Pro versions all come preloaded with that hot new operating system, Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.
