16GB iPhone with HSDPA coming in November?

This rumour seems almost too good to be true. In a leaked advertisement purportedly from T-Mobile in Germany, we find details of a 16GB iPhone (same capacity as the top-end iPod touch) and the much-requested faster 3G radio, including HSDPA.

iPhone early adopters : here's $100

So, it was no surprise that there would be a backlash from early adopters, when Herr Jobs announced the $200 price cut for the Apple iPhone. In fact, Jobs pretty much said “tough luck” when asked by a journalist about the potential complaints from early adopters.

Apple iPhone price drop, 4GB to be phased out

Just a little over 2 months after the iPhone was released, Apple has announced a welcome price cut. You can now pick up an 8GB iPhone for just $399 (from $599) and the 4GB is now discontinued. It’s a very aggressive move by Apple, probably prompted in part by their new iPod touch. Now for $399, you have your choice of an 8GB iPhone, or a 16GB iPod touch with WiFi.

New iPods!

Apple 16 GB iPod touch

We speculated (again) and Apple delivered (again). In Apple’s “The Beat Goes On” Special Event yesterday, Steve Jobs unveiled a completely refreshed line of iPods. We get new iPod shuffles in brand new colours, iPod nano with video, iPod “classic” with larger capacities, and the new iPhone-esque iPod touch.
