Apple iPhones spotted here and there

So AT&T customers are well-covered when it comes to the Apple iPhone. The rest of the world, not so much. The demand for iPhones is now so high that people are beginning to see them everywhere. Two places where the iPhone was spotted recently : Expansys UK and T-Mobile Germany.
The T-Mobile Germany page has now disappeared, and the Expansys UK page, which initially offered an “Unlocked iPhone”, has now been changed.
So how goes the hacking? The iPhone Dev Wiki team has reportedly been successful at making the iPhone work with other AT&T sims, such as prepaid Cingular, AT&T, and AT&T’s MVNO’s SIM cards. It’s taken longer than expected to crack the iPhone, but the end is in sight.
