As previously speculated, Apple today announced the new 1GB iPod nano. Priced at US$149, the 1GB iPod nano joins its larger 2GB and 4GB siblings with both white and black colours. The 1GB iPod nano features a 1.5 inch colour screen, USB 2.0, and can store up to 240 songs or up to 15,000 photos.
