Jonathan Ive, Senior Vice President of Industrial Design at Apple Computer, has become a CBE inhas The Queen’s New Year Honours list. Ive is the man behind many of Apple’s successful designs in recent years, starting with the original iMac.

Since then, Ive has been involved with just about all of Apple’s droolworthy and much-copied designs, including the iBook, Powerbook, Mac mini and of course, the iPod.
