When will iTunes downloads reach 1 billion?

Nobody really expected the iTunes Music Store to grow as fast or as big as it is today. The Music Store reached half a billion downloads in mid-July this year. RTFM has come up with this projection based on Apple’s historical figures to predict when the downloads will reach 1 billion.
The target is April 06 – seven months from now. I personally think it will be much faster, thanks to the iPod nano being released in plenty of time for back-to-school and the end of the year festive season.
